Roasted Apple and Sweet Potato Baby Food
It amazes me how delicious organic sweet potatoes are. They make this simple recipe fantastic.
Yield: 1 ice cube tray
1 organic sweet potato
2 organic apples
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Wash sweet potato and place on a greased sheet pan. Peel, quarter, and core the apples. Place on the same greased sheet pan. Cook 1 - 1 1/2 hours until sweet potato is cooked through and apples are soft. If the apples roast to complete mush, that is fine.
Process sweet potato and apples in food processor or blender while warm. Add 1/2-1 cup of water to thin to desired consistency.

Wash rainbow chard. Remove stem.
Chop rainbow chard and steam until wilted, about 8 minutes.
Put rainbow chard in your food processor or blender. Steam frozen peas as directed on the package in the same pot you used to steam the chard. Note, the water will be red from the rainbow chard.
Add the peas to your food processor or blender. Reserve steaming liquid. Blend until smooth. Use reserved steaming liquid to thin to desired consistency.
